                AP UNITED STATES HISTORY

                The AP U.S. History course is designed to provide students with the analytic skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal
                critically with the problems and materials in United States History. It prepares students for intermediate and advanced college
                courses by making demands upon them equivalent to those made by full-year introductory college courses. Practice is provided
                in writing essays in order to develop the skills necessary to arrive at conclusions based on informed judgment and present
                reasons and evidence clearly.

                This course is a study of problems and successes in American government and society. Our political institutions are viewed from
                many perspectives. It deals with the Constitution and its relation to government - local, state, and national. It includes America's
                role on the international scene and emphasis is placed on the democratic, constitutional nature of our system.
                AP AMERICAN GOVERNMENT AND POLITICS

                This course provides instruction in the fundamental micro and macro-economic principles as they relate to business financial
                activities and outcomes. Students will gain an understanding of how business and the local, national, and international economy
                interact to produce a profit or loss.  Economic, financial, and accounting concepts taught in this course will enable students to
                understand key elements involved in planning and managing business financial success.

                AP MACROECONOMICS

                Economics (Macroeconomics) will give students an understanding of the principles of economics that apply to an economic
                system as a whole, with a focus on fiscal and monetary policies. Students will deepen their understanding of national income
                and price determination and develop a familiarity with economic performance measures, economic growth, and international
                economics. Students will investigate fundamental economic concepts and economic performance indicators.
