1st/2nd Grade Teacher

I am blessed to be joining the Chapman Hills family this year as a first/second grade teacher.  After teaching for the last 8 years in Orange Unified, I am excited to call Chapman Hills my home.  I graduated from Biola University in 2002 with my BA and again in 2004 with my MA in Education.  I also claim being a "life-long" learner from my mother who is a teacher. I joined Orange Unified in 2002 and have taught K, 1, 2, 5, and 6.  I truly enjoy my time getting to know the students and helping them advance in their academic careers.

Born the daughter of a Naval officer, I was lucky not to move too frequently.  Most of my growing up was done in Southern California, from San Diego to Pasadena.  Since then I have stuck around. My family still resides in Irvine and my own small family lives in Foothill Ranch. 

My children, Annabelle (4 1/2) and Molly (1), and husband, Andrew, love to spend time together doing all sorts of fun activities.  We love Disneyland (of course with two little girls) and going to the park.  If I have a chance to have some free time, I love to craft... sewing, art, scrap-booking, all of it! It's so fun to be creative!

I am so grateful to the Chapman Hills community for their welcoming spirit.  It has been a wonderful start to a great school year! Way to Go, Bobcats!
