Support and Services for Displaced Families
Due to Canyon Fire 2

Orange, CA – October 12, 2017 - As we are beginning to recover from the Canyon Fire 2, please know that there are support and services available to families who may have been affected by the fire. Any family who has been temporarily displaced due to the fire will qualify for the McKinney-Vento program. Families may pickup a McKinney-Vento application from their child's OUSD school or contact the OUSD McKinney-Vento Coordinator at 714-628-5424. She can assist families with school resources and community supports.

The Orange Unified School District educates approximately 30,000 students in the Cities of Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and county areas.  The school district, founded in 1953, encompasses 108 square miles.  The District office is located at 1401 N.
