Welcome back to the 2017/2018 school year! The end of summer is always a time of anticipation and hope for me, as I know it is for you and your children! I am very excited to start my fourth year as principal with this amazing community of teachers, learners, and families! Fairhaven has a reputation for its strong academic program and I am anxious to get the school year started!
I have spent my entire career in education having been a teacher, assistant principal and principal. I am confident and passionate about the strong instructional program that Fairhaven provides for our students! I truly believe that the relationship between the student, parent, and teacher is the foundation of each student’s success. I have a firm dedication to partnering with our parents and community to enhance the education of our children. As a Fairhaven student, my goal is that each individual is nurtured by all the staff members from our smiling office staff, to our lunch supervisors, library specialist, and most of all our talented teachers. The entire staff here is dedicated to developing life-long learners and, as such, woks diligently to create a safe, effective and nurturing environment in which each child can reach his or her full potential.
I am fortunate to call Orange Unified School District my “home” and feel lucky to be part of the wonderful staff and families of Fairhaven. Bienvenidos al nuevo año escolar 2017/2018 ! El final del verano siempre es un tiempo de anticipación y esperanza para mí y sé que es lo mismo para usted y sus hijos. Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar mi cuarto año como directora con esta gran comunidad de maestros, estudiantes y familias! Fairhaven tiene un reputación por su fuerte programa académico y estoy ansiosa de comenzar el año escolar!
He pasado toda mi carrera en educación después de ser maestra, sub directora y directora. Estoy confiada y apasionada sobre el fuerte programa educativo que Fairhaven provee a nuestros estudiantes! Realmente creo que la relación entre el estudiante, padre y maestro es la fundación para el éxito de cada estudiante. Tengo una firme dedicación de asociarme con los padres y comunidad para mejorar la educación de nuestros estudiantes. Como estudiante de Fairhaven, mi meta es que cada individuo se nutra de todo el personal sonriente de nuestra oficina, nuestros supervisores de almuerzo, especialista de la biblioteca y nuestros talentosos maestros. Todo el personal está dedicado al desarrollo de los alumnos durante toda la vida, y como tal trabaja diligentemente para crear un ambiente seguro, efectivo y enriquecido en el cual cada estudiante puede obtener su máximo potencial.
